House in Azeitão

Located in a quiet, wooded area in Azeitão, this house was conceived as a retreat designed to enhance the connection with the surrounding nature. Featuring clean, horizontal lines, the architecture stands out for its simplicity and seamless integration into the natural landscape.

The interior spaces are open and fluid, punctuated by large glass surfaces that foster a continuous, subtle relationship with the exterior. The chosen materials reflect harmony with the local landscape: exposed concrete, natural wood, and glass predominate, creating a warm, organic atmosphere. Natural light floods the interiors, highlighting textures and volumes that give the project its unique identity.

Outside, terraces and leisure areas have been carefully designed to maximize the enjoyment of the region's mild climate. A minimalist pool acts as a visual extension of the house, reflecting the surrounding natural elements and maintaining a constant connection with the exterior. Wild gardens complement this experience, closely aligning with the idyllic setting.

The house in Azeitão expresses itself through architectural subtlety and simplicity, inviting an authentic, relaxed way of life in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature.

Situada numa zona tranquila e arborizada em Azeitão, esta casa foi concebida como um espaço de refúgio e descanso, que privilegia a relação com a natureza envolvente. Com linhas puras e horizontais, a habitação integra-se subtilmente na paisagem natural, criando uma harmonia perfeita.

Caracterizada por uma linguagem contemporânea, a habitação promove uma constante relação entre o interior e o exterior. As amplas janelas permitem uma luminosidade generosa, diluindo as fronteiras entre os espaços interiores e o jardim circundante. A leveza e simplicidade dos materiais escolhidos – betão à vista, madeira natural e vidro – contribuem para uma atmosfera serena e acolhedora. A luz natural invade os espaços interiores, destacando texturas e volumes que conferem uma identidade única ao projecto.

No exterior, os terraços e espaços de lazer foram cuidadosamente desenhados para usufruir plenamente do clima ameno da região. A vegetação, integrada harmoniosamente no projecto, garante uma privacidade subtil, enquanto uma piscina de linhas minimalistas reflecte o céu e amplifica a sensação de calma e bem-estar.
